A typical biscuit of the Venetian lagoon with a doughnut shape, that looks like a lifebelt. It was originally prepared by fishermen’s wives and was much larger, as it needed to provide enough energy for facing life at sea.
The Bussolà is now offered in a smaller format, but maintains a rich composition of nutrients which - once cooked - give it a long shelf life. Our Bussolà is also a healthy biscuit, free from oil and vegetable fats and rich in top quality, fresh ingredients.
