Sbreghe are traditional, quite hard, almond biscuits, not too sugary, and suitable for exalting the sweetness of fortified wines. Therefore, they are typically eaten at the end of a meal, by dipping them into a good sweet white wine.
We use naturally sweet almonds in our Sbreghette, which are crumbled in large chunks into the dough. We bake them twice, first in a small strip, then after cutting them into slices while still warm, we bake everything again to toast each slice. A handmade product from start to finish.
