Chocolate panettone with Cantiano wild cherries
It’s not called the king of leavened cakes for nothing - panettone is the most superior sweet bread made by natural leavening. In our panettone range, we exclusively use the pure MP sourdough starter originally created by Mauro Pinel.
We love panettone so much that every year we celebrate the arrival of Christmas with a new flavour.
In 2017 we fell in love with these dark red Cantiano cherries with their intense flavour, preserved in syrup. Hence the idea for our latest panettone!
We selected the best cherries in syrup, made using exclusively Italian fruit and without any artificial flavours, colourings or emulsifiers. To exalt the sharp note of these cherries we make a chocolate mix. Finally we drain the cherries carefully and add them whole to the mix. The result is a panettone with an intense and very refined flavour.
