Nadalin Veronese

The ancestor of the more famous “pandoro” but also with Veronese origins, Nadalin is a typical Christmas sweet, created to celebrate the first Christmas under the Scaliger rule. 
Like pandoro, it is a leavened sweet bread, rich in cocoa butter and with a typical 8-point star shape. But, unlike pandoro, Nadalin is a flatter sweet bread and it is covered in pine nuts and almond icing. 
Our Nadalin is a very soft sweet and easy to digest, thanks to the natural leavening with pure Mauro Pinel sourdough starter and the choice of top quality ingredients. The Madagascar vanilla note exalts the full flavour of the cocoa butter poured into the mix when liquid. Pine nuts and almond icing on the surface complete the work with a delicate and crunchy touch.
